The security protecting systems has evolved substantially in response to the threats created to compromise systems or extort money from companies.

However, the human factor has not often been kept abreast of these developments and this is precisely why they are often targeted directly when an attacker is focussing on our assets.

Overly obliging or trusting employees can inadvertently provide access to our systems, despite investment in technology solutions and therefore training staff is critical in the effort to protect and minimise risk.

Security training helps the employee by understanding the risk to themselves personally and it has been found that by engaging with them from this perspective it will help improve business security as a positive by-product.
